Nose - powdered sugar and a dark braised sugar. Deep fried bread - funnel cake. A hit of sugary and creamy strawberry.
Palate - buttery and doughy. Very cake batter. Walnuts and pecans. Red berries and blueberries. Reminds me of a loaded funnel cake from the carnival with the ice cream and pie filling. Stays in the brighter notes for a good long time but it does dip into dark notes and a little bit of oak and char at the end of the palate.
Finish - Butter cream and oak. A little cola in there. The blueberry is in here too.
