Nose- Decadent butterscotch pipe tobacco meets warm cheese danish, laced with ripe apricot compote and a flicker of burnt sugar crust, rich, nostalgic, and just edgy enough to feel dangerous.
Palate- Think dark and milk chocolate bark melting into browned butterscotch syrup — sweet and bitter in perfect tension. Notes of worn saddle leather and sweet pipe tobacco anchor the mid-palate, with a swirl of damp spring moss, earthy funk, and a whisper of barn floor. Apricot-black cherry chutney adds a spiced, juicy lift.
Finish- This benefits from some air as usual and lasts over a minute. Like biting into the best fruitcake you’ve never had, while savoring the last draw of a humidor-aged cigar. Deep dark vanilla and toasted coconut ride long with a sticky, fermented stone fruit funk — like someone buried a dessert in a rick house basement and pulled it out at just the right moment. Fuck this is a good summer pour. I’m not sure yet but this could be up there with Epsilon after some time in the bottle.
