Nose - Pecan, Molasses, cherry, cranberries and raspberry. No question this is wine finished. Sasparilla maybe? Like a faint root beer.
Palate - Punch to the palate. Lots of hits at once. Brain scrambler. Cherry and dark fruits hit me first. Heavy molasses and cranberry mid palate. Sweet black pepper towards the end. Pecan is in there too. So much, so fast that it comes across as a dessert.
Finish - Butter pecan and light barrel char. Vanilla. Butter cream icing? Cherry. Long lasting and satisfying.
