Barrel Run 2025
As we approach Claire’s 12th birthday (her 3rd in heaven), I’m reminded of the power of community, gratitude, and giving back. Surrounded then—and still—by love, we honor Claire’s memory by sharing that love with other families walking this path. Our beautiful daughter, Claire, lost to DIPG on December 29, 2022, continues to inspire us every day.
Claire’s incredible spirit and light continue to inspire us every day, and it’s in her memory that we’re excited to announce our 2nd annual fundraiser for a charity AND two families close to our hearts. We’ll be releasing two limited-edition bottles, collab between us, EverNorth Spirits, Thirteenth Colony, Green River Distilling and Southern Distilling (plus two special guests!) and 100% of the bottle sale price will be split between:
A family currently navigating the unimaginable challenges of DIPG.
A family currently navigating a devastating relapse of childhood leukemia.
The Cure Starts Now, a top pediatric brain tumor research charity built by families to support families.
These bottles aren't just about the spirit they contain—it’s about coming together as a community to provide hope, resources, and love to those who need it most.

Meet Kinlee
Kinlee was diagnosed with DIPG on 12/18/24 at 9 years old after experiencing issues with gait, balance, and minor left sided facial weakness. She is strong, determined, and such a joy to be around. She has a personality that sucks you right in, and everyone falls in love. She is such a funny child, and a joy to be around. Our pastor preaches about people who walk into a room and say “Here I am!”, but when Kinlee enters a room people are more like “There you are!”.
Kinlee and her family will be one of the two recipient's of the Barrel Run 2025 funds.

Meet Thomas
On February 13, 2020, Super Thomas’ family thought they had won the lottery! At least the cancer lottery. After initial diagnosis of leukemia in October 2016 and treatment, Super Thomas and his super siblings were able to ring a COVID approved remission, last day of chemo bell. Ask anyone who has had cancer enter their life and they will tell you the bell is the most beautiful sound.
Unfortunately, in February of 2024, more than 4 years after ringing the bell, Super Thomas relapsed. The heartbreaking news was delivered that Thomas has to fight this battle again. It's three years of chemo, three years of medicine, three years of parents needing to be off of work, three years of supporting super Thomas' brother and sisters and so much more.

The Cure Starts Now represents something truly different. For us it’s not about fighting just one cancer, but the elimination of cancer as a whole. We believe as the experts do; that in order to truly cure cancer you have to focus on those cancers that are the biggest bullies like pediatric brain cancer.
